2025 9th International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2025)
The 2025 9th International Conference on
Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2025) will be held from
November 21-23, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan. This conference is supported by Otsuma Women’s University, Takushoku University, and Tokyo Healthcare University. We are also deeply grateful to our patron institutions: the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (Portugal), Yamagata University (Japan), and the University of Malaya (Malaysia), for their continued support and collaboration.
The theme for ICEEL 2025, “AI-Powered Learning: Transforming Education in the Digital Age,” reflects the powerful changes taking place in education worldwide. Artificial intelligence is reshaping how we teach, how learners engage with knowledge, and how institutions envision the future. Over the next few days, I believe we will gain fresh insights, exchange diverse perspectives, and explore the opportunities and challenges brought by AI in education and learning. This year, we received 411 submissions from 47 countries and regions, and we are delighted to welcome about 200 participants from 26 countries and regions. These numbers underscore the global relevance of the topics we address and the strong international community that ICEEL and ICLLL have cultivated over the years.

2024 8th International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2024)
The 2024 8th International Conference on
Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2024) will be held from
November 23-25, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan. This year’s
conference is expected to attract a diverse group of
academic professionals, researchers, and practitioners from
around the world, building on the success of its previous
editions. ICEEL 2024 showcased a remarkable range of
academic work, with over 270 submissions from more than 40
countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, Canada,
UK, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia,
Germany, Spain, Thailand, India, United States, Russia,
Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Malaysia, South Korea,
Philippines, Hong Kong, China, and many more. This reflects
the conference’s commitment to fostering global
collaboration and providing a platform for the exchange of
cutting-edge research in education and e-learning.

2023 7th International Conference on
Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2023) has been held
successfully from November 25 to 27, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.
The ICEEL 2023 have garnered strong support from esteemed
institutions such as Otsuma Women's University, Japan,
Kumamoto University, Japan, and Tokyo Healthcare University,
Japan. We are also grateful for the sponsorship of the
Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave, Portugal. This
support has propelled these conferences to the forefront of
academic discourse in the fields of education and
e-learning. The impressive number of 194 submissions from 37
countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, Canada,
UK, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia,
Germany, Spain, Thailand, Burma, Malta, Malaysia, China,
United Arab Emirates, South Korea, United States, España,
Philippines, Nigeria, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong,
Macao, Russia, Vietnam, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Portugal,
Kuwait, Dubai, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Oman, and many others,
demonstrate the truly global and inclusive nature of this
academic gathering.

2022 6th International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2022)
2022 6th International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2022) has been held successfully from November 21 to 23, 2022 in virtual format. There were about 100 delegates from over 19 countries (China, Japan, Canada, Malaysia, Germany, Thailand, USA, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Philippines, Russia, Kuwait, Vietnam, Italy, UK, Brazil, Estonia, France and etc.) that attended the online conference, several experts in related fields were invited to give keynote speeches. The in-depth discussions among the attendees effectively advanced the academic exchange.

2021 5th International Conference on Education and E-Learning (ICEEL 2021) has been held successfully from November 05 to 07, 2021 in virtual format. There were about 80 delegates from more than 10 countries (China, Japan, Malaysia, Germany ,Thailand, USA, Turkey, Netherlands, Portugal, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Perú etc.) that attended the online conference, several experts in related fields were invited to give keynote speeches. The in-depth discussions among the attendees effectively advanced the academic exchange.

With much expectation, ICEEL 2020 was finally held successfully in virtual form during November 06-08, 2020. Although unpleasant situation prevents us from gathering at beautiful Tsuru, Japan. the conference was still activated by the warmness of participants! On November 06, Conference Local Chair Prof. Hywel Evans, Tsuru University, Japan made an opening remarks respectively.
